Alamindo provides legality assurance that the timber used comes from legal and sustainable sources, therefore our timber products have been audited and certified by an accredited independent certification body through Indonesia’s Sustainable Forest Management standard – the Sustainable Production Forest Management/Pengelolaan Hutan Produksi Lestari (PHPL) and Timber Legality Verification System/Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu (VLK). The PHPL includes all aspects covered under timber legality by VLK, but requires more efforts concerning social and environmental aspects. Alamindo itself achieved these two certifications with a good predicate, meaning all aspects comply with the certification standard.
