Alamindo engaged the timber logging business through its subsidiary, PT Prabu Alaska, which manages a production forest concession area of ± 293,000 Ha located in Fakfak and Kaimana Regencies. The wood products obtained from the forest concession area are merbau, meranti, and mixed forest types. In the management and utilization process, Alamindo applied the Indonesian Selective Logging and Planting (TPTI) silviculture system in a sustainable and sustainable manner (Sustainable Forest Management) in accordance with regulations set by the government. From 2019 to 2022, PT Prabu Alaska has carried out production activities that average logging reaches around 207,000 m3 for all types of wood which are dominated by merbau wood. PT Prabu Alaska’s wood production is an industrial raw material that will be processed at PT Karas Industri Papua. Replantation PT Prabu Alaska’s logging activities for each year only take less than 15,000 Hectares out of 293,000 Hectares and we actively carry out forest development activities which consist of providing seeds and replanting (using local commercial tree species including Intsia trees) and planting maintenance in the logging area, so after 30 years in the area, it will remain sustainable. These activities had been audited by an accredited independent certification body and received good predicate.
