Alamindo, through PT Rimbakayu Arthamas, began managing the current forest area of approximately 88,910 hectares. In the field, we learned directly from the forest: from the trunks that store life, the soil that fosters life, and the communities that live side by side with nature. Gradually, awareness grew that forests are not just sources of wood, but breathing systems—storing carbon, preserving air, supporting biodiversity, and maintaining global climate balance.
Partnership
Our expanding partnership, covering approximately 1,391,034 hectares across five provinces in Papua, has strengthened our efforts to become the Alamindo consortium focused on forest sustainability. Our role has shifted from simply exploiting to protecting and restoring, ensuring that forest cover remains intact and vibrant for the long term. We are now building a green economy that thrives in Papua, from the forests that continue to support life, and from the indigenous communities who are the natural guardians of this landscape. Our goal is simple yet important: to keep forests intact and breathing, benefiting people and maintaining the stability of the Earth’s climate today and into the future.
